God created the soul as something perfect and pure. He did not send it to earth as a task, but as a gift to humanity — so that mankind might experience the transcendent through it.
The soul is the channel through which the eternal makes itself felt in the temporal. It is the proof of God's nearness within us. That gift is sacred. God did not have to give it, and precisely for that reason, it is a gesture of pure love.
We are the bearers of that soul. Not by merit, but by grace. And from that grace flows our responsibility: to care well for that which is sacred within us, to nourish it, to protect it, and to remain faithful to it in all that we do.
Our life on earth is the terrain where we learn to make the material subordinate to the eternal. We learn to obey that higher rhythm — not out of duty, but out of gratitude.
Mankind serves God through the soul. By caring well for the soul.
